Aspirations of Athletic Greatness

I’m still here! and I’ve got two new events to train for again  Actually three! So here’s what’s new with me (in case anyone is still reading):

* The Cinderella Ride – I’ve signed up for the Cinderella ride again this year and I am really excited. I’m already thinking about a costume for the ride and I’ve started training. 65 miles will be no sweat by April! (Or so I hope)

* The LiveStrong Challenge – I’ve joined Team Fat Cyclist Fighting for Susan and I’ve signed up for the LiveStrong challenge. I’m doing my first century evar – 100 miles! I’m scared but stoked. I’ll be updating the page with a link for fundraising incase any of you reader(s) want to donate.

* Vineman Aquabike – I hate running so what a better event than a 1.2 mile swim and 50 mile bike? I’ll be doing that in August. I am going to be so fitness-y this summer!

Other updates just include that me and my BF of four years broke up leaving me with lots of time to train and chase cute boys on bikes. After watching the Tour of California, I’ve decided that cyclists are on the whole, very good looking so I’ve got high hopes for meeting some hotties while out training. Two cycling dudes offered me a beer today after I finished my ride. They definitely were NOT cute so I passed. But hopefully next time the guys will be cute.
