to get back to training! Yikes!

I haven’t been doing much lately and feel pretty bad for being so lame. I did go on a ride this past weekend and we did 21 miles. I’m participating in our company Bike to Work Day this week and will ride 36 miles round trip on the day that I ride so that’s exciting. I’m also about to start swimming and running again in preparation for the tris that I plan to do.

The only other thing to report is that I have a new favorite set of songs to run to:

  • 4 Minutes – Justin Timberlake, Madonna, and Timbaland
  • I Turn my Camera On – Spoon
  • A Girl Like You – Edwyn Collins
  • SOS – Rihanna
  • Don’t Stop the Music – Rihanna
  • Outta My Head – Ashlee Simpson

(Don’t make fun of me for that last one, that song is really catchy and I already get mad at myself for liking it)

Edited: Added swim workout:

500, 400, 300, 200, 100 Free (use the 500 as a warm-up, swim the rest on a pace)

2×200 IMs

1×100 Free warm down

TOTAL = 2000 meters (or yards)
